Gold Coast Backline was formed in 2000 on the Gold Coast, QLD Australia.

Founder and director Joe Delalande has been involved in the music industry for many years. He owned his own music shop in Rockhampton and has a vast product knowledge. He is also a working musician and has toured for many years as a drummer with some of the finest acts in the country. Performing with local and international stars, Joe knows the requirements and the needs of musicians that are out of their comfort zone as he has been there himself.

Gold Coast Backline has grown into South-East Queensland's most recommended hire company for Backline and Production, supplying the likes of George Benson - Burt Bacharach - Paul Anka – Dr. Hook – 10CC – Angels – Mentals – Gangajang to name just a few.
